Almost visible

Auroras is a hard issue to shoot. There is few alternative points how this goes:

1) Mostly there is nothing but maybe clouds or empty skies with only stars and light pollution to see at these levels, where I live in central Finland.

2) Often when the Aurora borealis -rates seem to be good, the skies is mostly cloudy.

3) If the Aurora borealis -rates are good and the skies is clear, MrMyrphy takes over and you forget to check the rates and alarms. And if you accidentally notice the opportunity, it is too late night to drive to a good position for photographing.

4) Often when Aurora borealis -rates are good, or exellent even, it is clear winter skies freezing f...ing COLD with wind. You forget clothing warm enough.

5) Also when you notice the possibility of Auroras and you'd have time to shoot the show, you can not find a good timimg for photograping, because Auroras live their life like they do, they come and go in about 20'- 40'  cycles. Your timing is often just wrong.

6) Equipment problem. You notice that you do not remember the right kind of setups anymore and you should have taken also another camera and tripod with you.

Today happened points 3 and 4, 5 and 6
