Sad day

A beautiful mature beech tree that has always been part of our view was today taken down. It has appeared in my sunset blips, being the only feature in an otherwise boring view. Now it has gone. I hate to see a beautiful tree cut down but I suppose the owners had their reasons.
Norman is in hospital. He went yesterday and already feels better. I visited him today and he seemed in good spirits.
