A day in the life

By Shelling

Winterless

In the newspaper this morning was stated the Öland, my island, hasn't had any winter this year. For it to be winter, the meteorological rules say that the mean-temperature has to be below zero five consectutive days. The final date for this to happen is on the 15th of February so, we've been having autumn all the time, and still has. Spring is when temperatures are over zero seven days in a row. Autumn continues as yet.

The Pond has given up it's ambitions of an icy wintercover and is adapting to the new conditions.
