New cows on the block

I had a nice walk with the dogs over Chapel Common this morning. Some time over the winter the little herd of cows there became depleted to a herd of three (I'm not sure why...) and it didn't seem right that there were so few of them in such a big place. Well I am pleased to report that there have been some new additions and the herd now numbers eight. Despite those horns they seem pretty friendly and my theory is that they wouldn't be allowed to roam freely in a place where so many people walk their dogs if they had aggressive tendencies. Hopefully I won't be the person to disprove this hypothesis :)
