Balancing act

I had my weekly 20 minutes of gosling time while the boys went to their music lessons this afternoon. When I got to the ponds the heron was there wading in the shallow water so I snuck over, confident of getting some nice close-ups of him...and he flew off. The goslings were much more friendly, however. They're growing ever more and learning all sorts of new tricks.
