Derelict...

This house has been for sale for as long as Ive known it - about 14 years. It´s got a lot going for it, but it looks like, and is bound to be, a money-pit.
It belonges still to the family that built it, round about the year 1800. The Del Riegos were ringleaders in the successful attempt to force a more democratic constitution on the king of Spain. They imprisoned him, but after he agreed to the new constitution they released him. He responded by having Del Riego hung in a square in Madrid.
I´m not sure whether this house belonged to the hung General Del Riego or to his brother. Either way, it´s in a bad way.
More evidence in the extras. E1 is the back view of th house, from the through-road that `passes near to it. E2 is corner-on. E3 shows the Del Riego family escudo.
