Cathedral

A step along Bold St, then a gawp at St Luke’s before waiting patiently for the Anglican Cathedral to open. Rather lovely. And big! Very big. Onto the bus and back to the docks as a pal said the Beatles Story was "better than you’d imagine." It is! Though like the band themselves it faded a bit after Epstein departed the scene.
Then on to the maritime museum! Whooo hoo!! Of course it’s a mixed bag - everything from slavery to the Titanic. But still plenty boats. On to a river cruise - down the river, up the river, viewing the sights: the world’s biggest brick warehouse, a ventilator shaft, Wallasey Town Hall. Not enough of "Ferry cross the Mersey" though. Then the Museum of Liverpool before the SK fled for a lie down. Can’t blame her - I needed a seat myself. And found it in somewhere called the Bridewell. Kirkstall Brewery ales. Beezer. I whistled up K and we got the evening started. Later, after the arrival of the refreshed SK and P,  a curry. Luckily, a very small curry.
