A fine walk this afternoon in the countryside south east of Bearsted. Cold and sunny and great views across the Downs too.

Campervan was right about the “dogwoods” the other day. They’re not. They’re Salix which makes sense as there’s a purpose to growing the stems for use as willow whips.

We had a very pleasant coffee, chat and quietly satisfying meeting between all of us who opposed project A. A much different occasion to previous meetings where we were always planning and discussing our next moves.

I went to the Doddington Uke Group this evening where we were put through our paces with Highway to Hell, Silver Machine, I Want You and Sweet Child of Mine. No guitars were to be seen.
