Street scene in Hanoi

A back blip from yesterday - we arrived in Hanoi after an overnight flight and got to our hotel around 24 hours after leaving home. Too exhausted to explore much but after we had freshened up and had something to eat we did have a wander in the evening. 
This young lady caught my attention as she checked the balance on both of the baskets she was carrying and then sat down.
 I knew the traffic in Vietnam’s big cities was fairly amazing but I couldn’t have been prepared for how it is at busy times with vast numbers of mopeds weaving in all directions amongst cars, bikes, buses and pedestrians calmly crossing the roads in the chaos  of horns blaring and somehow avoiding being killed  !! We really did feel like the country cousins!
