Chief Worm

A bitterly cold and relentlessly grey day. My morning walk with the spaniel took me over part of the huge Wormsley estate which was bought by Paul Getty in the mid 1980s. I was amused to see that some wag had scrawled a signature "Chief Worm" (barely visible on the photograph) in the bottom lefthand corner of this notice on one of the footpaths crossing the estate.

Another day dominated by administration - money laundering checks, appointing a surveyor etc - around our house purchase.
