Weird tree

Definitely feeling cooler on our morning dog walk. My sense of smell is gradually returning.  Can eat chocolate but have no desire to drink coffee.  Hopefully means this lingering cold is losing its grip. Fingers crossed.

A quiet day two dog walks, pottering about, preparing dinner.

Spotted this weird tree on our walks. Not seen a tree like this before.

On a positive note the hound is getting less reactive to cats.  Rewarding good behaviour with small treats is working, though the canny hound looks to my coat pocket  - where treats are kept - whenever he spots a feline.  Nonetheless it distracts him from rearing up, pulling etc, which is the desired aim.  We still have a few slips but overall the pattern is improving. 

Started watching The Bay over the past two nights.
