Holyrood Palace ...

Our last day in Edinburgh , which has certainly exceeded my expectations,  a great city to visit.

We had breakfast & checked out of the hotel & headed off to Holyrood Palace.

A most interesting place to visit is enhanced by a superb audio & visual interactive guide.

We then headed across the road  to visit the Scottish Parliament, which also was very enjoyable. Afterwards, we walked back into the city to have a further look around the National Museum of Scotland.  It was then time to collect the suitcases & catch the train home.

Dan & Michelle picked us up & we then enjoyed a meal at the New Inn Hook a Gate.

It was a fantastic week.
