Street scene

Our day started early with a 6 am pick up to be taken to the airport and then a short flight to our next stop in Hui . Much less traffic but in the semi dark it is amazing how many mopeds and bikes don’t have lights on - I shouldn’t be amazed any more ! 

Hui seems so much quieter than Hanoi and we did some exploring on foot and walked to the Perfume river - crossing streets is still not without its dangers but they don’t seem quite as crazy - still lots of horn blowing though. 

I was amused at this chap resting in his cycle rickshaw but it wasn’t until I looked at the photo on my iPad that I noticed how he stopped it taking off onto the road with the piece of wood stuck through the wheel!
