Dead Zone

Late out today and the light flat and disappearing fast. The trees in this woodland added to the gloom. They are mostly ash and steadily dying due to a beetle infestation creating a chaotic mess of fallen trunks, like a super size game of pick up sticks. We used to play that at my grandma's house as kids. Funny what you remember sometimes.
