Home alone

Paul said it was like a scene from Home Alone when he walked in- the boys had knocked off my tray of egg shaped stones. I just had to spend 10 minutes putting them back into correct order.... And there's now one missing!!

I was very lucky as a child, to travel far a wide to see my family. When I was 14 mum, dad and I went to Zimbabwe to see my Aunty Sooz and Uncle Charles - aunty Sue is the 3rd in line matriarch to my Mum and then my aunty Aude- all three have equal merits- all are very bossy :-)
We bought these two trays from a group of women sat on the top of a Kopje polishing rocks. Probably paid peanuts for them and they are one of my life's treasures- funny how that happens sometimes.
