Moulting

As you can see we had a little snow - a bit more than this in fact but it had mostly melted by mid morning when we ventured out. The wind was bitterly cold and sleet chilled our cheeks so it wasn’t a pleasant walk. I did feel sorry for these poor sheep who had already started moulting their winter coats.
