Dawn at the River

The rain that fell from the south-east a few days ago was enough to jog some sections of the Taylor River to rise above the dry shingle and run freely. The water is running in the water body nearest to me and trickling down the previously dry rocks and stones to the pool where Maisie often has a paddle. A busy day. Friend Lynette came to work in the garden with me. She knows lots more about gardening than me. Camera Club tonight. And Daughter Margaret arrived from Wellington this evening. Yay! We’ll have fun.
