Woodland Fungi

Discovered this unusual fungi in a sheltered position in woodland near the garden. The weather continues to be mild and overcast with rain which arrived mid morning. Yet another day when time just disappeared in the pursuit of family history; luckily no chance of garden work getting in the way.
