What a busy day!
I spent the evening at Music Relief Foundation's first "An evening with..." event, which was "... Women in Jazz", featuring Fiona Ross and Adyenne Simone (AKA Big Mama). It was an evening of talks, performances, and meeting fascinating folk, and I had a great time, alongside taking hundreds of pictures... The MRF staff had transformed the usual classroom space into a fairy-light lit venue (atmospheric, but tricky photographically), and it was an intimate-feeling event in many regards.
