Under the Bridge

It was a lovely morning when I woke up, bright sunshine and although it clouded over it's stayed dry all day.

I decided to pop up to the moor so drove to Ashburton and on to Holne Bridge. It crosses the River Dart and although nobody's old enough to know when it was built, we know it was rebuilt in 1413 so it's restricted to vehicles no longer than 10m long and 2.29m wide.

My image this time is from the downriver side of the bridge. There are some lovely mossy rocks all along the banks as you can see.
