Dinner for Snow Leopards

Annelinde and I went up a side valley close to camp this morning and were delighted to see to a herd of Blue Sheep, the Snow Leopards staple diet, coming down the mountain. We sat for ages willing them to come right down into the frozen river and eventually they did. One of them didn’t get his crampons out (extra).

Our Snow Leopard couple were still enjoying each other’s company today and there are some extras of them too. I hope the Blipmasters don’t take one of them out!

Lots of people at this campsite and today, car loads of people arrived at the spotting place as word had reached Leh that our Snow Leopards were accessible to long lenses! I am not used to this kind of “wilderness” experience but you have to go with the flow!
