The Railway Hotel!

Snow has now almost disappeared so I took a walk around the village, the photographs I like the best are the ones I can talk about and this is one such photograph.  It used to be called The Railway Hotel and it has a long history in the village, the terrace to the right is Railway Terrace.

If you look carefully at the corner of the Railway Hotel on the ground just beside the street name you will see a horse mounting-dismounting stone and above that on the wall two metal rings for tethering your horse!  A little throwback to the past.  It's these little features that make photographs interesting.
