A touch of blue

Of work today so a steady morning was had as it is still rather cold. I ventured out to the local butchers and then back home till it was time to pick Julie up from Metheringham . 
While over that way I decided to take a shot of my monthly shot of my  tree for the year . This morning I said to Julie fingers crossed it will have a lovely blue sky as a back drop but typical this afternoon the clouds came in so no lovely blue sky  to show it off. .
Back home for an afternoon / evening of football on TV. This afternoon Lincoln went 1 nil up away at Exeter before a stupid back pass to the keeper who was no where near where our defender kicked it allowed Exeter to draw level  and then later on they took the lead to beat Lincoln 2-1 . Premier ship football this evening. Going to settle down soon and watch a film  before picking Julie up from work just after midnight. 
I did think about going to the pub this evening but the walk to meet Julie and  walk home in the cold and possibly damp conditions made me change my mind and stay at home then have a late drink once Julie is home
