Devon!

Had a nice morning with my Mum.  Did a couple of jobs for her (helped her order a copy of her birth certificate, so she can prove her identity for the money left to her in my cousin's will, and dusted the back/underneath of her wheelchair), and Tim attempted to sort out her dishwasher, which was refusing to pump out.  No joy sadly, so we washed everything up instead.

We had some lunch with my Mum, then set off for North Devon.  Arrived at our lovely holiday cottage in Combe Martin mid-afternoon - and found the owners had left scones, clotted cream and jam for us.  Lovely!  I dolloped the jam onto my scone in an accidental heart shape - thought it was worth a photo :)

Very pleased with ourselves for having booked a Tesco delivery - that turned up in the late afternoon, so we are now well stocked for the week, and were able to have an easy dinner of Quorn meatballs and spaghetti.  Had a lovely relaxing evening too, in our very comfy cottage.
