Pizza time

Got an SOS from Sue this morning, she had a hectic Sunday planned and finding her car had a flat battery didn’t help at all. A jump start done, she was on her way to collect a new battery and play catch up.

I did some shopping on the way home then took Shivpops out for a hurl.

Chores done we headed out for pizza, mine was a brie and pancetta with poached pears, yum!

Our drive home wasn’t much fun though, as another cloud burst of a storm hit with hail added for good measure. The water splashed by passing vehicles was often above the car. It was good to get home in one piece, and thankfully no more flooding in the garden.
