The Rooks Are Nesting

I stood for ages this morning watching these rooks building nests near the tops of some trees.

There was lots of building material being airlifted in - it was a busy and very noisy scene! There were one or two ‘thievings’ going on as some attempts were made to bypass the gathering of twigs! This resulted in a few arguments!
