A Meandering Life...

Twisting & Turning

Most of yesterday's journey was new to us, as was todays. We started off by visiting Motueka to see the Janie Seddon Shipwreck at low tide (see 1st extra lower) we had visited yesterday at high tide (see 1st extra upper). I first saw this on Miffy's journal and I'm grateful to her for showing us her wonderful area.

My main Blip is of a derelict farmhouse just south of Tākaka on Hwy 60. The 2nd extra is a college of some of the detail I noticed along the way. The Mini is just down the road from our accommodation.

Highway 60 from Riwaka to Tākaka over Tākaka Hill is amazing. We climbed over 800m and the road was so twisty I thought I was following my own tailgate at one point!

Tomorrow I must do a little less driving...
