Red in tooth and claw?

Just an experiment, mostly for my own benefit (So. What's fresh?) ...
I'm still getting used to the new toy.
I was paying homage to the porcelain God earlier when I saw 2 dark marks on the tiles.
Closer inspection showed not two wee midgey things but one wee mosquito shaped thing and what I identified as a "Jumping Spider".
Couldn't be harassed to wait and see if it would successfully jump, so paid frequent visit for a while. I wish, now, I'd waited. I'd not be able to capture the jump, having witnessed a Prey-less jump in the past, but I'd like to have witnessed it with a victim.
