Out for breakfast

It’s been somewhat of a medical appointment week for Roger, Dermatologist yesterday and Dentist today - at least it gets them out of the way in one week. His dentist appointment was for a filling, the first one either of us have needed for a number of years -strictly speaking it was replacing a previous filling. His appointment was quite early, so we decided we would go out for brunch afterwards, to give him something to look forward to! We went to our favourite fairly local place, Toast and Berry, which is very popular and always busy. It’s always hard choosing there as I fancy just about everything on the menu! I also treated myself to a flight of Mimosas, in different flavours! I finally went for the Spinach, Gouda and bacon omelette, with hash brown cubes and whole grain toast. The weather was a bit milder today with hazy sunshine, so I went for a neighbourhood walk to walk some of it off, while Roger went to the gym.
In the evening we were back to handbells and choir as usual - the last two weeks we haven’t had bells since our director and husband were on vacation in Florida.
