Japanese anemone.....

....beautiful in white with it's single petals, yellow stamens and green centre, sways gently on long stems in shady parts of my garden.

We woke to rain, clouds parted and sun beamed down on us, it was so hot, 27C in the middle part of the day, cloud returned then heavy drops fell turning to rain, hubby mentioned traffic was crawling as he was coming home due to heavy rain and of course there were those who were driving without their lights on, people don't think!

Cruising into the weekend, love autumn days :)
