Curator's Garden....

.....an awesome day in the city with fellow blipper JMK. We chatted as we wandered enjoying the vibrancy of the city. Lunch was tasty once we found somewhere to eat, it was so busy. Couldn't believe it when blipper V1k1 was walking towards us. V1k1 was on her way to a wedding, we  stopped and chatted for a minute, a small spontaneous blipmeet on the corner of the street, great fun! And the perfect day for a wedding, warm, sunny with a slight breeze.

I'd not visited the Curator's Garden at the Christchurch Botanic Gardens and loved it. It demonstrates how to utilise a small garden space. A formal vegetable garden sits in raised beds, crops are rotated seasonally, flowers companion vegetables in the potager garden and fruit trees are trained to grow in creative directions. Looking forward to returning in autumn and seeing all those lovely autumnal shades.

Great camera time in the city, thanks J :) Looking forward to catching up again soon :) x

Happy Saturday everyone :)
