The Quantum Leap

A sculpture alongside the river (The Severn) in Shrewsbury. It was created to celebrate the birth of Charles Darwin, born in the town in 1809. It is variously thought to represent dinosaur bones, DNA or a backbone!! It is also scurrilously referred to as The Slinky!!

We had a wander around town, with Mrs madwill’s brother, partaking of coffee and a very nice pub lunch, before returning to the hotel for an afternoon nap.
