After two dull days I hoped for an improvement today but it wasn’t until the afternoon that it brightened.

Bowness was packed and I couldn’t find a parking space. I drove up to Windermere and did what I needed there, then tried Bowness again before heading home. Success when I spotted a car passenger putting her seatbelt on so I waited for the car to move.
