No Soup For You Today!

And no pareidolia, either-----just a close-up of one of the most ephemeral creatures you will ever see. This is a Crane Fly.  They don't bite, sting or eat in the adult stages.  The larval stage does eat underground or surface vegetation, but once it matures into an adult Crane Fly, it mates, lays eggs and dies within a very short time.  They can be annoying when they are fluttering around inside your house  and they can look pretty scary, but they are harmless and a part of the food chain----just shoo them away......
