Spent another beautiful spring day in the out of doors.

Except the hour at guitar. The girls did have group guitar lesson, however, which was fantastic. Next Sunday is there recital, and they spent today practicing for a real guitar orchestra piece they will perform next Sunday. There will be 8 different parts shared amongst the 20+ students, who range in age from 4-12.

But, back to the outdoors. We spent the afternoon at a nearby state park, playing in the playground, picnicking, splashing in the creek, and then visiting the nature center. The volunteers staffing the center had to think of a way of getting the girls to leave the center, as they were truly engaged in play, so they could close up shop. It was brilliant. The girls searched for food outside for the various live animals inhabiting the tanks in the nature center. This worm was a tasty treat for the toad. And the girls left the center happily...
