Fantail in a kowhai tree

The return of Fergus Fantail.........getting closer and closer and cheekier and cheekier.  So cute though.

My firewood was delivered today - yay!  The bonus was a tip from the delivery driver on how to get the most out of burning my wood.  I'm curious now to see whether his technique for loading the burner is effective ie less fuel and burning warmer.  I guess I'll begin to find out in around 2 months time.  Call me impatient, but I told Fi about the technique so she can try it whilst she's still lighting her fire......we'll see what happens.
