Newcastle Downunder

Autumn beginnings

KangaZu has set the challenge of blipping (for us downunder) Autumn as this is the season we are going into although you would never believe it after the hot weather we have just had.  Today however it has been much cooler.  Far from the packed beaches in Summer, in Autumn you generally see only the stalwarts although the sea water temp is still warm at the beginning.  There were only two swimmers in the sea at Nobbys beach behind that fence this morning.

The other thing at this time of the year is that Maggy is shedding her Summer coat getting ready for her Winter coat.  I have clouds of hair in the house daily and even though she gets brushed before we visit the aged care homes, beware anyone wearing dark pants as she crumbs them with her hair.

Thanks for hosting KangaZu
