I don’t normally like to mess with the bright yellow and green of spring flowers but as it’s #MonoMonday I felt like giving it a go. I actually like the effect of a starry night sky at my feet but wanted to include the original as celandines in their full glory are so gorgeous. With the spring equinox comes beauty.

Today’s IPCC climate emergency report is very alarming - as if we didn’t already know it. And yet the subsidisers of fossil fuels don’t seem to care as long as their profit is pouring in. Biden is rowing back on his green policies, the UK is allowing a new coal mine instead of investing in tidal power. The BBC news report tonight had almost no urgency about it, as if it’s not that much of a problem. Desperate times.
