Daffodils in The Wood

The daffodils in the wood make a lovely contrast against the wood on a dull day.
We saw one fairly large Roe Deer, one grey squirrel, and a flock of about 50 swans in flight.
We heard the swans before we saw them and thought initially it was a group of dogs fighting, until they appeared overhead flying low. The noise was deafening. Poor Geordie didn’t understand what was going on.
This afternoon has been spent watching Boris Johnson giving his evidence to the Privileges Committee about whether he intentionally misled Parliament over Lockdown-era parties.
