Resting on a rock

Unexpectedly I had the afternoon available to deal with all my paperwork. When that was done I decided to leave and have a walk at Western Springs Lake. Rewarded by the stately pose of this Karuhiruhi (Pied Shag). Bird No 24 for 2023.
