Catching small insects

We went to Hamilton again today. S had noticed that the Hamilton Zoo was offering the opportunity for closer contact with a Sumatran tiger. She had purchased tickets for Miss Tsuken and Young L; the last two tickets for today. Drove there, had lunch, and the youngsters went off for their special time. S and I wandered around and found our way to meet up with them.

On the wanderings we saw a peacock, which appeared to be roaming freely around the zoo. (See extra) When we were walking through a patch of native bush, a Piwakawaka (fantail)followed us, clearly benefitting from our passage having stirred up some small insects. Today's blip shows the Piwakawaka on top of a fence as it rested briefly.
