Van Gough Immersive

My birthday treat today and we met up with our son, Stuart,  in York.
The main aim of the day was to see the Van Gough Immersive which is set up in a church next to the Jorvik centre.  Very much worth seeing - many of his paintings are projected onto the internal walls with some of them being animated. A boat sways, blossom falls from trees and the starry starry sky goes very Pink Floyd.

Stuart found two brilliant places for coffee (Spring Espresso) and lunch (Mannion) and we had a Thai Tapas dinner. All three good for DF and GF choices.

In the extra, our family conversation at the pre-dinner drinks pause :-)

I'll definitely recommend the VG Immersive - particularly with the extra VR section which is just something else.
