New One

Don't think I've posted this one on Blip before - it's a Tassel hyacinth - those purple bits open out into quite a tassel. Native to Turkey and Iran, but obviously naturalised on our Land. Also saw the first poppies on the Land today, after Mike had strimmed in the garden.

We've decided to stop building for now, and concentrate on leaving things well for our forthcoming trip to Croatia for our organisation's long delayed Biennial; the last one was five years ago.

Gratefuls:
- doing a bit of road building, hauling rubble and then concreting it in, on the bit that's already getting very dusty where we turn into the Land
- a delicious and easy lunch from last night's leftovers, with added nettles, rosemary and wild asparagus
- almost all our fruit trees budding
