Another dismal day, though really quite warm. I was home in the morning, then Roger and I went out for lunch to a new (to us) Indian restaurant, recommended to us by our friends at dinner on Sunday evening. It specializes in Southern India food, and they have a buffet at lunch time, so we got to try several dishes, some of which were new to us. After that we went to Menards, the large hardware store, to look at shutters, as ours are quite shabby looking and need replacing. Then it was back home for a few hours before going out to handbells and choir. When we left to come home, it was throwing it down with rain, and there was quite frequent sheet lightening. We had driven our own cars, as Roger had gone to the gym first,
and I was glad to get home. It’s calmed down now, as I write this, but we have more rain in the forecast overnight and for the next several days, on and off.
