Late...

…………………....………Bloomer


For some reason this head is bursting into flower long after all the others on the plant have bloomed, gone to seed and been trimmed off and discarded!

Still, I’m pleased to see this late agapanthus flower glowing and looking beautiful as the buds swell ready to open. A grey sky provided the light coloured background.


The extra photo, taken last week, shows 6 of 10 monarch butterflies I released that morning. Four fluttered their wings and flew to nearby trees.
