Between fen and mountains

Carnival

I prepared bread again in the morning and made more phone calls to the liquidator. I am still trying to get hold of the roof and windows of the veranda that have been seized when the company went bust. Given that I paid for the materials in advance, I am hoping that the liquidator will find in my favour that these items belong to me rather than the company and will send them to auction. In the afternoon I heard loud drumming coming up the street and was surprised when I opened the front door to see the carnival coming up the street. It was basically the children and parents from the primary school who had dressed up for the occasion. Nevertheless it was colourful and good fun.
