Nature week - Bullfinch

Managed a while in the hide today - and was treated to this bullfinch - which perched within the dark confines of a Rhododendron bush.

I like the fact that the hide is visible in the eye - only if you view it really large though!

Shot on a manual focus 400mm f3.5, with a 1.4x convertor and an extension tube to allow the lens to focus closer than the 5m minimum standard.
