Packwood House

Left home mid morning for my drive up to the Peaks. I stopped for lunch at this National Trust house that was not far off the route, and what a delight it was! Quite small inside but an interesting history. Grabbed some soup for lunch in the cafe and then headed on my way. The rest of the journey was a bit painful - traffic around Birmingham - but I got here in reasonable time. Lovely room - I’ve really lucked out this time! Went for a short walk around the local village, and I’m just about to go and find my cousin who has just arrived so I’m looking forward to catching up with her. Then dinner and some much needed sleep.
