The Grassy Knoll

This is where President John F. Kennedy and Gov. John Connally were shot. There are X's painted on the road at the exact place where the two bullets hit. People waited for the traffic light to turn red so that they could stand on an X for a photo op.

We had an absolute blast in downtown Dallas today. We saw the amazing Cattle Drive sculptures (extra) and the Cancer Survivor's Memorial (extra2) the giant eyeball, the Law Enforcement Memorial, City Hall, gosh, I can't name it all. 
The sweet little baby girl next to the big sculptured sphere is my grand niece. She was my traveling companion today. Her mom chauffeured us all day, then cooked dinner for us. Shero status!!
