Lawn daisies - madeliefjes

What's that? Was there actually some sun today? I dashed out to the garden (well, I did put my jacket on first) and captured the daisies that had opened their flowers immediately, smart things ! Since it's been predicted to get considerably worse tomorrow and the days after (I think temperatures not above 10 C and did I hear something about frost on the ground at night and sleet .....?) let's enjoy every bit of better weather now ;-) For one thing the grass seems to like the watering !

PS Do you know that the Latin name of lawndaisies "Bellis perennis" means 'eternal beauty' ?
